Guns and Equipment For Foxing

It goes without saying that to humanely dispatch a fox (or any other vermin) you need the correct kit, both of my mates have been in this game for so long they have fine tuned their kit to suit their needs, below is a brief description of the guns,ammunition, scope etc they find does the job.

The gun used is A Tikka 22-250 with T8 mod and A schmidt & bender 3x12x50 scope, the lamp used is A light-force 170 scope mounted. The bullets used are 22-250 and are home made with a 50 grain hornady ballistic tip and 35 grains of varget powder which will hit speeds of around 4000 fps or 3/4 of mile in one second.
